I got this recipe from a friend at work, great and never fails Easy as all get out, you will love it! You can also use your favorite soda like Dr. Pepper. Beer Bread 3 Cups Self Rising Flour 4 tbsp Sugar 12 oz Beer, room temp (I used NewCastle Stout, but would've used Honey Lager if I could find it at that particular store) Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix flour and sugar together well. Then slowly add beer while stirring with a fork. Avoid the temptation to over-stir the mix. You actually want the mix to be a tad lumpy. If you over stir, it will make the bread heavier. Spray your bread pan with a non-stick oil spray and empty batter into the pan. Crack open the oven door and put the bread pan on top of the stove near the opening to rise a bit. Then bake for 30 minutes. Cheri

Sound like a great recipe. Can't wait to try it in a dutch oven.
