Hello from California all. I used to frequent Frugal's almost everyday. Not so much now. I know it was all the stories that kept me coming back. Looks like I found a new place to visit. I have nothing against the other site it just doesn't fit my needs as it used to. Anyhow good to be here.

I still find Frugal's to be one of the best places out there for useful, intelligent discussion of preparedness-related topics, but glad you've found this place so you can continue to follow Einar's story. Please feel free to jump in and join the discussion anytime it suits you!

Wish I could share your optimism, FOTH. I find Frugal's has gone downhill, being now full of sappy inane, and repetitive, questions and mall ninja foolishness, and not much real useful discussion about serious preparedness or outdoor survival matters. It's still better than many survival related forums, but I greatly prefer Bushcraft USA over them all.
Love following Einar's story wherever it's still posted, even though this site is far ahead, in the story line, of the other sites. I enjoy reading the chapters over and over again.
