When ever we cook sweet corn on the cob, I always toss a couple extra in the pot. After dinner is done I put the leftover cooked cobs in the dehydrator and let them get about half way dry. Then I carefully shuck them and finish drying the kernals. They are great trail food, sweet, easy to eat, and add great variety to your on the go food.

That sounds like a good idea! Are they really chewy? Sounds like an 'easy on the teeth' replacement for Corn Nuts....
