My oh My! Einar has a stylish new abode to tell his story!
I have to admit that I have been a loyal follower of Einar since the very beginning of his stories. (Wife has to let me take time out each afternoon to "see how Einar is doing today!" and I can read up.
I have not had a lot of experience in the wilderness or hunting, trapping lifestyle so this has allowed me to gain a lot of knowledge vicariously. I do have some experience in homesteading as I lived on a farm in the middle of the last century that did not have electricity, telephone, running water, inside potty, etc. so I know how to live like that. (sometimes I pine for the simplicity that it provided and the joy of accomplishment you got doing small things.)
I look forward to more learning and high country experience.

Welcome, Carlysle!
I know you've been with the story since the beginning, and I'm glad to see you here!
Sounds like you have some experience with a simpler life that is closer to the land, so you'll have a lot of wisdom to share, here.
