Thank you for a great story, and hopefully a happy ever after.
I do wonder where, though.

Thank you all so very much for your reading of and participation in this story as it has unfolded. Your comments, discussion and criticism have made my effort worth continuing, and I hope you have all found some benefit in the story from time to time, as well. Chris/FOTH

Chris Ive been reading your story for several years now and I just don't know what to do. It has been part of my routine for so long that its like something has died in my life. I haven't posted till now as I was hoping that this was not really the end and a new chapter/book would evolve from the end of Mountain Refuge. I have enjoyed it too much to explain and I am in your debt. Thank you for all your work and generosity to share this with all of us. I am sure you need some time off , but don't quite writing you are too good at it to stop.

Thank you very much, ebb and ladylola. I appreciate that you've been reading from the very beginning. Ebb, don't give up on the story. Every end is a new beginning--and I don't think this one will be any different. Did debate it for a few days, whether or not to go on, but the debate is over, and I have begun work on Book Four. Anyone care to take a guess at the title?

That's great that there will be a book four but now that Einar has died, will it be about Liz and Will??? that would be cool. I wonder how she would survive without Einar because I see her "carrying on the dream" FOR him and in his memory so that their son "knows" him through that way of life.
I will keep checking in to see how it goes! thanks again for the great adventure!

As sad as I am that the story has come to an end, I am grateful for the journey. I applaud you, FOTH, for your dedication and for providing your readership continued adventures. Like was posted above....we're all hooked on Einar, and now Liz and little Will. Every few days I have read new entries-this is like cutting an addict off, lol That said............ In that small a plane, the range is not enough to leave the states

Carlysle In the last 'chapter', the trees and ground "rushed" towards Einar... while Liz floated slowly. The wording is clear that Einar did not open or could not open his chute and he always thought that death was real freedom. I would love to be wrong but the way the last chapter is worded, Chris will have to do some major revision to make Einar "live" through that. If Einar is alive, then that last chapter sure did not show it.
