Hi, I currently live in a small town in southwest Virginia, near the borders of VA, KY and TN, about an hour from Bristol for those who may also be racing fans.

I "discovered" this site by following a post on Facebook about how to make balm of Gilead. From there I read FOTH's other wilderness posts on their blog, read the other blog and discovered the Einar stories and then on to here.

I am excited to read any future updates to the story and excited to find this community and site.

Glad you found the stories, and this site, through the wilderness skills/survival blog. Just out of curiosity, did you try making balm of Gilead? And how did it turn out for you?
